Special Invitation to the Rally in the Valley on November 28 and November 29

November 22, 2017 - We are extremely appreciative and grateful for everything this administration under President Trump is doing for coal & that Administrator Pruitt has decided to hold the public hearing regarding repeal of the Clean (Costly) Power Plan here in Charleston, at the Capitol building, on November 28th and 29th.

Please join West Virginia's mining community and State's political leadership at 9 am on Tuesday, November 28 the river-side (south) of the Capitol building for this historic day as EPA officially announces the end of the "War on Coal".

We plan to have good, old-fashioned BBQ’s (cooked on the spot) and entertainment surrounding our speakers.

Our hope is to show strong support for President Trump and Administrator Pruitt’s decision to repeal the CPP with a large, enthusiastic crowd.

Watch for more event details!

Who We Are

The West Virginia Coal Forum was created in 1986 under the auspices of the Mine Safety & Technical Review Committee and at the direction of the West Virginia Legislative Committee on Coal Mining. This body was created to establish a forum for the coal industry to jointly resolve or develop technical and other issues impacting the industry, particularly those issues of an economic nature, or of major significance to the coal industry. The Forum also provides a means for management and labor leaders to develop joint legislative issues and programs and to promote the coal industry.
