Autopsy Reveals the Cause of Death for Indiana Miner

 

 

March 19, 2018 - An accident at Sunrise Coal in Oaktown, Indiana has killed 34-year-old Jason Williams of Bloomfield.


Knox County Coroner Brian Hagen has released the preliminary results of Wiliams' autopsy.


According to the report, the cause of death was internal injuries.


Hagen says Williams died from internal injuries he suffered after the mantrip he was driving rolled over on top of him.

 

Williams died Friday afternoon. His body was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital where the autopsy was performed on Saturday.

 

Hagen said toxicology results are still pending.


The accident remains under investigation.
