July 13, 2018 - Ramaco Carbon's CEO said the company has tried over the past few years to develop a pretty unique integrated platform.

Randall Atkins made the statement in closing remarks Thursday as Ramaco's three-day Research Rodeo in Sheridan drew to an end.

Representatives from more than a dozen industries and universities have been in Sheridan this week to hear about Ramaco's plans for facilities that will convert coal into products, and to talk about coal and related issues including the history of the mineral, carbon fiber manufacturing and coal-derived products.

The event also included excursions to the Sheridan-WYO Rodeo Wednesday and Thursday and, on Thursday, a bus tour to the Sheridan County Museum, the Black Diamond Trail through the sites of the mining towns that once flourished in Sheridan County and the site of Ramaco's iPark and iCam facilities north of Sheridan.

Atkins said he hopes the Research Rodeo will be an annual event, and he looks forward to seeing this year's attendees again next year. He said he also hopes that next year, at least part of the event will be in Ramaco's new iCam facilities.
