February 3, 2021 - Below is a message from Jeff Kravitz, President, Holmes Mine Rescue Association (HMRA)
Holmes Mine Rescue Association (HMRA) committees have been working with MSHA for over a year to develop new unified rules for Mine Rescue, Skills, Bench, First Aid, and Technician events. These rules will take effect this year. HMRA and MSHA are offering free virtual training via WebEx next week, and we hope that you will join us. The following is the MSHA announcement:
NOTIFICATION OF TRAINING OPPORTUNITY
The 2021 National Mine Rescue, First Aid, Bench and Technician rules training will be held February 9-11. Team representatives, state agencies, MSHA and others are being given an opportunity to receive interpretations directly from the Co-Chairmen from each of the four disciplines.
Due to COVID-19 limitations MSHA is offering the training via WebEX only. The session will be recorded to be available for review by anyone who is unable to attend. The WebEx information is as follows:
