June 3, 2021 - Operational rate of China’s 110 coking coal wash plants under Mysteel’s weekly survey improved for the second week over May 26-June 1, up 0.9 percentage point on week to 71.6% by June 1, with the growth chiefly contributed by the sampled plants in North China’s Inner Mongolia, according to the survey.

Over the survey period, processed coking coal output from these surveyed plants edged up accordingly by 3,100 tonnes/day on week to 608,300 t/d in total, as some independent coking coal processors in Inner Mongolia were able to resume operations with modest recovery in raw coal delivery from the neighbouring country.
