September 20, 2021 - The Coal Markets Report has been updated for the business week ending September 17, 2021.

For the week, spot prices:

• Increased $5.25 to $71.05 in Central Appalachia

• Increased $1.80 to $60.65 in Northern Appalachia

• Increased $0.35 to $36.25 in Illinois Basin

All spot prices have remained unchanged from the week ending September 3, 2021.

Spot prices are in dollars per short ton and are for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2021.
