Nathan Wyant Selected as Brookville Equipment Corporation’s Employee of the Month

November 28, 2025 - Nathan Wyant has been selected as Brookville Equipment Corporation’s Employee of the Month for September.

Nathan has been a valued member of Brookville Equipment Corporation for the past 18 years. He began his career as a Welder/Fabricator, and he still continues that position today.

Over the years, Nathan has honed his craft across many projects, but his favorite work involves heavy welding for mining equipment. He finds satisfaction in the complexity and durability of this equipment and takes pride in seeing each job through from start to finish.

In his current role, Nathan’s responsibilities include running the COBOTs, assembling Liberty boxes, and performing hands-on welding. He programs weld callouts, maps layouts, and manages the loading and unloading of boxes onto fixtures for welding. The introduction of COBOTs, particularly for Liberty box production, has helped significantly reduce assembly time — and Nathan’s expertise has played a key role in that improvement.

Nathan credits Triangle Tech for giving him a foundation in welding and manufacturing, but he says his real learning happened on the job at BROOKVILLE, where he sharpened his technical skills and adapted to new technologies. Over the years, he’s learned to navigate challenges like interpreting complex prints, managing time between jobs, and ensuring accurate information is available to keep work flowing smoothly. When obstacles arise, he works closely with his crew lead to find the information or measurements he needs to keep production on track.

When asked how he stays motivated, Nathan says he simply keeps his head down and focuses on getting as much done as possible, always aiming to improve a little each day. He also enjoys lending a helping hand to coworkers who may be learning the ropes — a reflection of his teamwork and leadership mindset.

His favorite part of the job? “Working with my fellow employees,” Nathan says. He values the camaraderie, shared work ethic, and sense of accomplishment that come from completing a job together. The most important lesson he’s learned in his 18 years with BROOKVILLE is to be detail-oriented, pay attention, and always try your best to avoid mistakes — advice he continues to live by every day.

Outside of work, Nathan enjoys spending time outdoors and staying active. He coaches youth football for the Punxsy Youth Football League, where he works with his youngest son’s team. He also enjoys riding dirt bikes, fishing, and hunting whenever he can.
