Bluefield Coal Symposium to Help Seek Zero Fatalities

June 19, 2024 - “The first aim of the Symposium is to aid the search for zero fatalities in coal mines and Session 1 – The Road to Zero, is dedicated to just that,” said Bill Reid, Symposium Chair and Managing Editor of CoalZoom.com. “NIOSH has prepared a special paper for us called “Analysis of Coal Mining Accidents” and we have assembled a group of industry experts to comment on their area of expertise and make recommendations on how to prevent fatal accidents. In this way, we are trying to make a significant impact in coal mine safety.”
