March 4, 2025 - The Metallurgical Coal Producers Association is hosting its annual conference and exhibition, May 18-20, 2025, at the Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, West Virginia. The theme for this year’s conference is “Community, Opportunity, Impact…Steel!” Ernie Thrasher, Founder, President and CEO, Xcoal Energy & Resources has accepted our invitation to speak at this year’s conference. Ernie is an internationally known and respected individual respected for his knowledge of coal markets throughout the world. His coal experience began in 1974 working for a family-owned mining company with operations in Maryland. He held various positions in mine operations and mine management through 1981. He spent twenty-two years in various global marketing positions at Primary Coal and AMCI. Ernie Thrasher In 2003, Arnie formed Xcoal Energy & Resources.
