September 21, 2018 - Further to a previous announcement, Communications and Strategy Director of the World Coal Association (WCA), Katie Warrick has today assumed the role of Interim Chief Executive.

Katie is a long-standing leader within the WCA team, helping to shape the organization’s policies and strategic direction.

She is also WCA’s Communications and Strategy Director, where she works with the Executive Team to oversee key program areas and policy developments, such as WCA’s work on the Sustainable Development Goals and the organisation’s communications program.

Katie holds a degree in History and Politics from the University of York.
