December 4, 2022 - Longwall Rifles LLC in Windber opened up along Graham Avenue in Windber this past July.

Owners Brian Bahorik and Lynn Crisi call this a "one stop shop" where you can both buy and repair guns.

They sell various brands of firearms, sporting arms, ammunition and they manufacture custom made guns.

They say the name "Longwall" comes from Windber's coal mining history.

We pretty much wanted to bring the hunting and sporting world back to Windber. We want to be known throughout, but when people think of Longwall in this area, they're thinking of mining. A lot of people think it's really neat of how we're doing that with the namesake with being in Windber," Bahorik told 6 News.

The owners say they offer the unique art of gunsmithing, and can provide all services a local hunter would need.
