September 5, 2023 - The Coal Markets Report has been updated for the business week ending September 1, 2023.


For the week, spot prices:
  • Increased $1.60 to $54.10 in Northern Appalachia
  • Decreased $0.15 to $32.35 in Uinta Basin

All other spot prices remain unchanged from the week ending August 25, 2023.

Spot prices are in dollars per short ton and are for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2023.
