April 3, 2025 - The WVCA encourages members of the ET committee to consider registration for the WV Mine Drainage Task Force meeting, which is being held immediately following the conclusion of the WV Coal Symposium.  The sessions will commence on Wednesday afternoon April 16at 2:00 pm and will cover important topics in mine drainage treatment and management and are being held at the same location as the Symposium for your convenience. 

We understand that the timing may have caused some confusion regarding registration.  Attendance at the WV Mine Drainage Task Force meeting requires a separate registration from the WV Coal Symposium.  Here’s an overview:

Option 1:  Register only for the Coal Symposium:

Registration for the Coal Symposium covers all sessions from Tuesday morning through Wednesday at 3:00 pm.  This registration ends Wednesday and 3:00 pm and does not cover attendance at the WV Mine Drainage Task Force sessions.  Registration for the WV Coal Symposium closes April 6, 2025.

Option 2: Register only for the WV Mine Drainage Task Force:

Registration for the WV Mine Drainage Task Force covers all sessions from Wednesday morning through Thursday at noon.  This is an overlap with the Wednesday sessions of the WV Coal Symposium and includes the Wednesday evening reception.  Attendance at the Environmental Excellence Awards Luncheon is an add-on option for this registration.  Registration for the WV Mine Drainage Task Force meeting closes April 8, 2025.

Option 3:  Register for both events:

This covers all sessions for both events.  This is the only option that provides for attendance from Tuesday morning through Thursday afternoon.
