July 3, 2025 - The National Mining Association (NMA) issued the following statement from Rich Nolan, President and CEO of the NMA, on the House passage of President Trump's One, Big, Beautiful Bill.

Nolan said, "Congress and the President have been working diligently to deliver a bill that provides economy-lifting tax breaks, supports American workers and jobs, and creates investments in American manufacturing. The provisions in the One, Big, Beautiful Bill support today's mining industry which stands ready to create additional jobs and revenues for our economy, provide the minerals and materials to secure our manufacturing and defense supply chains, and generate the power to enable the technologies of the future. We look forward to continuing to work with the administration and Congress to further strengthen our global competitiveness and thank them for their efforts on this key piece of legislation."
