October 6, 2025 - We updated our Coal Markets Report for the business week ending October 3, 2025.

For the week, spot prices:

• Increased $1.00 to $60.00 in Northern Appalachia
• Increased $0.50 to $50.00 in Illinois Basin
• Increased $0.35 to $14.75 in Powder River Basin

All other spot prices remained unchanged from the week ending September 26, 2025.

Spot prices are in dollars per short ton and are for delivery in the first quarter of 2026.
