November 21, 2025 - From February 22-25, 2026, the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration (SME) will host the mining industry’s premier annual conference, the MINEXCHANGE 2026 SME Annual Conference & Expo. The event will bring together thousands of professionals, students and exhibitors for over 100 technical sessions covering all aspects of the industry, countless networking opportunities, an Expo Hall featuring 590 unique exhibitors, student competitions and poster contests, a must-see awards ceremony, and much more.
In addition to a compelling keynote session and a roster of expert luncheon speakers, MINEXCHANGE offers a technical program unmatched in depth and breadth of information. The 2026 program will showcase the exciting future of mining including critical conversations on mineral exploration, cutting-edge water management strategies, and the evolving landscape of permitting. This year’s spotlight: the Resilient Energy in Mining – Balancing Tradition and Transformation Symposium, is where legacy practices meet the urgent call for sustainability and renewable energy integration.
