Ramaco Foundation Supports Toys for Tots and The Food Group

January 2, 2025 - On December 29, 2025, Ramaco Resources, Inc., announced that the Ramaco Foundation is proud to support Toys for Tots-Sheridan Chapter and The Food Group in Sheridan this holiday season and thank these organizations for their dedication and the positive impact they make.

Both play a vital role in bringing joy to children and providing essential resources for families in need. Ramaco is honored to help further their missions and spread hope and generosity throughout our community.

Randall Atkins, Chairman and CEO of Ramaco Resources and Chairman of the Ramaco Foundation presented each charity with a $25,000 donation.

“We are honored to stand alongside organizations whose unwavering dedication transforms the lives of children and families throughout the region. Their commitment creates lasting, positive change not only during the holiday season, but every day of the year,” said Atkins.

Toys for Tots will use the donation towards their annual toy drive and year-round literacy programs which aim to build self-esteem and a positive future for children in need.

“Thanks largely to the financial support of Ramaco, we have been able to expand to 11 distribution locations,” said Mo Laya, Sheridan Coordinator for Toys for Tots.

The core mission of the Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys for economically disadvantaged children at Christmas, bringing them the joy of the season and sending a message of hope, while also helping to develop them into responsible, caring citizens and uniting communities for a common cause.
