February 9, 2026 - We updated our Coal Markets Report for the business week ending February 6, 2026.

For the week, spot prices:

• Increased $2.00 to $83.00 in Central Appalachia
• Increased $1.00 to $65.50 in Northern Appalachia
• Increased $1.00 to $53.50 in Illinois Basin

All other spot prices remained unchanged from the week ending January 30, 2026.

Spot prices are in dollars per short ton and are for delivery in the second quarter of 2026.
