March 23, 2026 - We updated our Coal Markets Report for the business week ending March 20, 2026.

For the week, spot prices:

• Decreased $0.50 to $87.00 in Central Appalachia
• Increased $0.25 to $70.75 in Northern Appalachia

All other spot prices remained unchanged from the week ending March 13, 2026.

Spot prices are in dollars per short ton and are for delivery in the second quarter of 2026.
