Fenner Conveyors Takes Major Circularity Step With Launch of INFINITYSERIES Recycled-Content Belts

March 26, 2026 - Michelin Group company Fenner Conveyors has officially launched the INFINITYSERIES, Fenner’s new line of recycled-content conveyor belts designed to deliver reliable performance while reducing environmental impact across Australia’s heavy industries.

The range was first unveiled at its K-MIX Material Innovation Hub Open Day, where customers, partners, and industry leaders were given an exclusive preview of the innovation and engineering behind this significant step forward.

The inaugural belt in the INFINITYSERIES is produced using 10% locally recycled materials, sourced through a long-standing partnership with Tyrecycle. These materials are processed at Fenner Conveyors’ state-of-the-art K-MIX Material Innovation Hub in Kwinana, ensuring controlled, consistent performance while significantly reducing transport requirements and associated carbon emissions.

The INFINITYSERIES has been engineered to make the most of recycled content while maintaining Fenner’s relentlessly high standards. “The belts deliver the strength, durability, and reliability expected from Fenner Conveyors belting, making them ideal for general purpose applications across mining, processing, ports, industrial operations, and agriculture. Each cover compound is developed by Fenner’s in-house industrial compounding experts, with all materials mixed locally to reduce environmental impact while maintaining quality and traceability.”

More than a new product line, the INFINITYSERIES it says represents a major milestone in Fenner’s journey toward a fully circular conveyor belting ecosystem. The range plays a critical role in enabling full lifecycle, chain-of-custody management, connecting manufacturing, in-field use, end-of-life return, and reincorporation into new belts.

Fenner Conveyors Managing Director Jen Green highlighted the significance of this shift toward circularity: “It’s no longer the end for end-of-life conveyor belts. We are transforming these belts into new solutions that can continue to deliver value to the industry.”

For operations handling coal, iron ore, quarry materials, hard rock, or grain, the INFINITYSERIES provides a practical, credible pathway to reducing environmental footprint, supported by Fenner’s warranty, expert engineering teams, and national network of service centres.

The company added: “The launch of the INFINITYSERIES is only the beginning. Fenner will continue to enhance the range through ongoing innovation in recycled materials, compounding technologies, and performance testing. As Australia’s leading conveyor manufacturer, we remain committed to reducing the environmental impact of conveying systems while delivering the high-performance solutions our customers rely on. The INFINITYSERIES marks a powerful step forward for sustainable conveyor belting in Australia, and a strong indication of what the future holds.”
