April 20, 2026 - We updated our Coal Markets Report for the business week ending April 17, 2026.

For the week, spot prices:

• Decreased $1.00 to $71.00 in Northern Appalachia
• Increased $0.25 to $15.60 in Powder River Basin

All other spot prices remained unchanged from the week ending April 10, 2026.

Spot prices are in dollars per short ton and are for delivery in the third quarter of 2026.
