June 8, 2026 - We updated our Coal Markets Report for the business week ending ending June 5, 2026.

For the week, spot prices:

• Decreased $5.00 to $82.00 in Central Appalachia
• Decreased $0.75 to $56.00 in Illinois Basin
• Decreased $0.50 to $14.70 in Powder River Basin

All other spot prices remained unchanged from the week ending May 29, 2026.

Spot prices are in dollars per short ton and are for delivery in the third quarter of 2026.
