July 6, 2026 - We have released construction cost data for
new electric generators installed in 2024, including:
- Nameplate capacity-weighted average construction
costs on a dollars-per-kilowatt basis
- Total construction costs, generator capacity, number
of generators, and number of plants
Average costs are presented by energy source, prime mover,
geographic region, technology type, and plant size.
