August 10, 2026 - We updated our Coal Markets Report for the business week ending August 7, 2026.
For the week, spot prices:
- Decreased $1.00 to $81.00 in Central Appalachia
- Increased $0.25 to $70.25 in Northern Appalachia
- Decreased $0.10 to $14.55 in Powder River Basin
All other spot prices remained unchanged from the week ending July 31, 2026.
Prices are in dollars per short ton and are for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2026.
