The Fight for Job Security & Fair Treatment
More than 1,400 members of the Communications Workers of America (CWA) in Ashburn, VA and throughout West Virginia went on strike on March 4 at Frontier Communications after the company refused to agree to a fair collective bargaining agreement.
Frontier has repeatedly refused to guarantee employment security. Following continuous job cuts, CWA members are deeply concerned about the future of their livelihood and service to local communities.
? Out-of-State Scabs Imported: Rather than negotiating in good faith to resolve the dispute, Frontier has escalated anti-worker tactics by importing out-of-state strike replacements to cross picket lines and take union jobs.
Solidarity in Action Across Labor & Nations
Workers unite from across the country to back CWA members on the picket lines.
Navajo Nation workers join the chorus of labor solidarity backing striking CWA members.
An Injury to One is an Injury to All
“The UMWA stands firmly by our CWA brothers and sisters and supports their fight to win what they have rightfully earned and deserve.”
