IMARC 2026 Is Taking Shape – And It's Bigger Than Three Days

IMARC 2026 - Email - Header

With just over two months to go, IMARC 2026 is rapidly taking shape.

From 27–29 October at ICC Sydney, thousands of mining leaders, operators, investors, governments and technology providers will come together around this year’s theme: From Strategy to Execution: Delivering Responsible, Resilient and Viable Resources.

Early signs point to another record year. Registrations are already more than 30% ahead of the same point last year, driven by growth across mining operators, investors and international participation.

And IMARC is increasingly about more than three days. Across the week, Sydney will host meetings, receptions, leadership discussions, international delegations and industry events – making it one of the most important weeks of the year to be in the room.

Keep reading to see what’s taking shape for IMARC 2026.

I’ll be back next month with more updates. In the meantime, don’t miss our final early bird pricing for Delegate Passes, ending 11 September.  And if you’re planning to attend the IMARC Gala Dinner, secure your place early – capacity is limited, and we expect it to sell out.

Here’s what’s taking shape
IMARC 2026 - Ontario

More international mining jurisdictions join IMARC

50+ government delegations and attendees from 125+ countries are expected at IMARC 2026, making the event a truly international meeting place. A growing program of country showcases, international pavilions and government-led discussions will put global mining opportunities front and centre – with Oman, Ontario, Saskatchewan and Chile among the latest delegations to join.

IMARC 2026 - Leadership Roundtable

NEW: Beacon Leadership Roundtables

Mining's biggest questions are moving into smaller rooms. The new Beacon Leadership Roundtables will bring together senior leaders for focused discussions on some of the industry's most pressing challenges – including capital discipline, workforce capability, strategic resources and defence, and scaling AI in mining.

IMARC 2026 - Operators
More mine site leaders join the IMARC program

More mine site operators and mining contractors are joining the IMARC 2026 speaker line-up, bringing practical, on-the-ground expertise across operational, technical and leadership challenges. Discussions will focus on strengthening site performance, building organisational capability and turning strategy into results.

New speakers include Trudi Jackson (Agnico Eagle), Tim Benfield (AIC Mines), Ben Keyser (Barminco), Rob Johnston (CITIC Pacific Mining), Emma Pollard (Coronado Global Resources) and David Gonzalez (Whitehaven Coal).

IMARC 2026 - Mining Hubs
Capital remains at the heart of IMARC

Through Mines and Money @ IMARC, investors, junior mining companies and project developers will come together to discuss where capital is moving and what it takes to get the next generation of projects funded and built. With 75+ explorers and miners already joining the Mining Investment Hub, an expanded program of investor-focused panels and the recently launched Mining Spotlights program  will create even more opportunities to put projects in front of capital.
