August 24, 2026 - We updated our Coal Markets Report for the business week ending August 21, 2026.

For the week, spot prices:

•                   Decreased $0.50 to $55.00 in Illinois Basin

• Decreased $0.05 to $14.50 in Powder River Basin

All other spot prices remained unchanged from the week ending

August 14, 2026.

Prices are in dollars per short ton and are for delivery in the fourth

quarter of 2026.
