Right now, as you read this, diplomats, activists, and career UN bureaucrats are packing their bags for New York City for “Climate Week.” They’ll call it “civil society engagement.” They’ll call it whatever sounds nice enough to keep you from asking the real question Think of it like the eco-socialists’ “Super Bowl.” What are they actually pushing? You may not hear the words “Agenda 2030” chanted in the streets outside – most of the activists marching this week couldn’t tell you what it means. But it’s the UN blueprint sitting quietly behind the so-called “green solutions” being championed here, including the “loss and damage” wealth transfers (AKA “climate change reparations”) making headlines.  A blueprint that decides what you drive, what you eat, and how much of your paycheck gets shipped overseas to countries that never lifted a finger to earn it Different committee rooms. Different acronyms. Same target – your wallet, your freedom, your say in your own life. And this year, it’s not just diplomats in the room. It’s the activists.    In April, Extinction Rebellion blocked rush hour traffic in one of the busiest stretches of New York City – in the middle of 5th Avenue, right outside Trump Tower. Then, after 16 of them were rightly arrested, they had the nerve to call themselves victims of a “domestic terrorism” investigation!  Two years ago, more than a hundred of them chained arms across the entrance to the Federal Reserve.  Last year, dozens more blocked Citibank’s headquarters two mornings running.  In 2023, 75,000 people marched through Manhattan with a Hollywood cast list – AOC, Susan Sarandon, Kevin Bacon – demanding you give up your car. This is the circus our team is walking directly into. We’ll be on the ground, in the middle of it, while the UN General Assembly meets two blocks away. It’s operational, with $822 million pledged by wealthy nations so far. Washington, D.C.’s share was a modest $17.5 million, paid before President Trump pulled America off the fund’s board entirely – but the account is already burning through cash faster than the world can refill it. So now they’re eyeing new ways to fill the gap – including a global tax on fossil fuels and a tax on international shipping. Translate that out of bureaucrat-speak: a tax on the boats that bring you everything from your sneakers to your coffee. You don’t have to send a foreign government a check for this one to cost you – it just shows up at checkout instead. And this UN General Assembly session is where the pressure campaign to expand it gets its next push. Agenda 2030 is the master framework humming quietly behind everything happening this week – whether the marchers outside know it or not. “Sustainable consumption.” “Equitable transitions.” Strip away the greenspeak buzzwords and it all translates to one sentence: less money in your pocket, more of it in theirs. And yes – the UN’s plastics treaty is back too. It collapsed in Geneva last year with no deal and no draft text left standing. They installed a new chair, and he’s already running informal meetings to try again before the year is out. (They lost but they didn’t go home.) And this is what really makes my blood boil . . . while all of this gets decided, the people funding the loudest protests outside – aren’t riding bikes to get there. They’re flying. The same folks who lecture you and me about our gas-guzzling cars or using air conditioning are the ones with the biggest “carbon footprints!” This is where CFACT shows up – literally. Climate Week is an activist and corporate festival, open to anyone with a badge or a folding chair on the sidewalk – and we’ll be there, to challenge the radical greens on the ground. What actually sets CFACT apart from the crowd is a credential most of those groups don’t have: official NGO observer status at the United Nations, earned by showing up – Geneva, Dubai, New York – at negotiating tables ordinary Americans, and most of the activists marching outside, will never get near. And we don’t take a single dime of taxpayer money to do it. No government grants. No federal contracts. Just donors like you – which is exactly why the globalists can’t buy us off, and exactly why sending our team into the lion’s den for a week like this one isn’t cheap.
