“Reinforcing the talent pipeline in the industry with young innovators remains core to our mission, especially in the current age where mining continues to gain recognition as being a primary source of technological advancement and sustainable practices,” said Melissa Russell, SME Executive Director and CEO. “We are honored to have a longstanding role in this and look forward to awarding this key funding to outstanding individuals who will meet the massive mineral demands of the present and future.”
