September 21, 2026 - The Mine Safety and Health Administration will host a roundtable discussion with representatives from the mining industry on Tuesday, October 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. MDT. The meeting will be held at OSHA’s Technical Center in Sandy, Utah.

This meeting will focus on supporting operators and partners with mine safety and health compliance. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with Assistant Secretary of Labor Wayne Palmer and Administrator for Enforcement Tim Watkins. MSHA will provide updates on organizational changes and share information about the agency’s compliance assistance resources. MSHA leadership also looks forward to hearing your questions and concerns.
