September 21, 2026 - We updated our Coal Markets Report for the business week ending September 18, 2026.

For the week, spot prices:

• Increased $0.50 to $55.50 in Illinois Basin

• Increased $0.15 to $14.65 in Powder River Basin
  

All other spot prices remained unchanged from the week ending September 11, 2026.

Prices are in dollars per short ton and are for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2026.
