October 19, 2026 - We updated our Coal Markets Report for the business week ending October 16, 2026.

For the week, spot prices:

• Increased $2.50 to $87.00 in Central Appalachia

• Increased $2.50 to $58.50 in Illinois Basin

• Decreased $4.50 to $68.00 in Northern Appalachia

All other spot prices remain unchanged from the week ending October 9, 2026.

Prices are in dollars per short ton and are for delivery in the first quarter of 2027.
